Not him but 99% of the story content is still piss easy on Critical. You might get rarely caught off-guard from an enemy dealing half your health in damage but otherwise it's simple. All the hard stuff is from Final Mix.

Sorcerors are immune to magnet, and so are the cars when they're invincible. Unless Chicken Little's magnet has a property that makes it bypass those immunities.

Almost all the Final Mix stuff is end-game content. Only exception being the Absent Silhouettes. The legitimately hard content is Lingering Will and the data Organization battles.

I just started KH2FM today and went with Proud mode even though I usually play every game on Normal.
Did I make a mistake? I don't want to go through the long beginning again but I'm scared I get fucked in the endgame.
Just finished Land of Dragons and there was nothing seriously hard so far.

Proud is basically Normal, there might be a couple "that parts" but otherwise you're fine. Critical basically massively buffs the damage enemies do.

Yeah, if you're not on critical, you might as well be on beginner because the damage you deal is reduced pretty harshly, while not actually increasing the game's difficulty much between normal and Proud, making every fight take much longer than it should.

Play on Crit and don't grind when you get stuck like a lot of people tend to do, just learn fights and git gud, then if you can do all of the post-game content on Crit, give LV1 a shot

This problem exists all throughout KH

In BBS, spam dodge as Ven and Aqua for 100% invincibility (the i-frames persist all the way up to the next roll's i-frames) and don't forget your overpowered as fuck commands, and magic haste + leaf bracer + cure making you literally unable to die

In DDD, flowmotion spam in early game and Balloon commands completely piss over every single boss and enemy counter including the secret boss

.2 has a similar issue of just all bosses being damage sponges while you can't really die thanks to MP regen being fast enough to cure everytime, this shit is universal. Every game is piss easy, sans LV1 runs, where KH1 and 2 somewhat shine in comparison to how fuckawful BBS gets at LV1

Shit I completely forgot about that. Magnet into Finishing Leap or Lightning make easy work of them, also if your magnet is upgraded then you can pull off some Horizontal Slashes too for more damage

No they don't have a constant hit box, only when attacking. Some of their attacks make the cubes float around them for a second before launching so that's probably what you're thinking of.

You are also correct that reflect is pretty effective however you run the risk of not timing one reflect right or running out of MP (especially if 2 or more are attacking in unison) which in my opinion is not worth the risk when you can just hit them with magnet and make them helpless, even if there are 2 or more.

Bullshit. I was doing the third nobody fight fucking yesterday and I had been relying on magnet spam on everything up until those fuckers showed up. I ended up using reflect to take them out reliably.
