I hate Outlast series because the source of all the evil shit happening in the game is science-related, not supernatural. I'm not christian or anything, but I find this resolution very boring.

Gameplay pretty much 90% chase sequences which is retarded for a horror game. After a while chases don't scare you anymore and it just gets old.

I liked the school flashbacks though, that story arc was pretty good.

People complained about walking simulator horror games so they made a running simulator trial and error game.

90% of players had to look up how to get past the first enemy you encounter 5 minutes into the game. (The scythe lady)

I would say 7-8 hours for most players.
It doesn't really try your patience by being long, but just by having tedious gameplay. It's more stressful than it is scary.
