I feel like Skyrim is good in the larger context of Elder Scrolls.
With the combined experience of Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, you feel like you're part of a grand world.

It's the first in the series, of course it's going to be the least polished. When you start from the newest games, the older ones will never be as good in comparison.

You misunderstand, i started with demon's souls. Beat the first boss and lost all interest. I couldn't see myself doing this for 40-80 hours or whatever. Then i gave the whole thing a second go with Bloodborne and now i am HOOKED. The aesthetics and world are far better and after Gasgoine i was on my way playing for hours. Currently trying to beat Rom the vacuous spider
