the only thing cheap about this fight is that the little spiders have one weak-looking jump attack that somehow does a whopping 1300 damage to you even if you're well armored.

I seriously think it was an accident that they made that attack do that much damage. The spiders have other jump attacks where they get their heads stuck in the ground they slam it so hard, but those only do like half the damage. The one that one-shot-kills you is just a quick little hop jump
