Personally I dont even use my 3DS outside, maybe on a trip it can be different but portable is not much of a big feature to me. If I want to play video games, I will play them at home.

When Nintendo said the switch would be a hyrid or something like this I expected it to support both 3DS and Wii U games rather than just restarting the same generation completely

Well, for many games on Switch, local co-op is supported out of the box so that's a nice plus in its favor.

Also, load times compared to other platforms (unless you install on SSD on PC) are generally better on carts over HDDs and discs.

PC is digital only though so it's able to be cheaper. Even if you're buying digital on the Switch, they need to match the physical version's price.
