I forked over half a grand for a Nintendo Switch, two extra joy-cons with a grip pad, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe only to find out the game is basically Mario Kart 8 with the battle mode patched. I already own a Wii U with Mario Kart 8 + both DLCs, I feel utterly ripped off and empty inside.

One game is named Mario Kart 8 DELUXE which means they should at least improve the race tracks. Adding an extra item box stack doesn't mean anything, also you don't even get the stupid feather in race mode.
