the reason the shader single use is bullshit is because you are constantly changing your gear, so the only aesthetic choice you really have control over is your color scheme, and they have taken that away by making them single use.
I could understand having a limited number and needing to equip them, but for them to get consumed makes them pointless

I'm just pissed off that I can't have my most prized Destiny 1 possesion, the Hawkmoon with me in destiny 2.
Call me an idiot by I'd pay money to get to keep some gear and weapons from D1. Legit 1 weapon and one armor piece. You could ask me for 10$ In silver to do this and I'd throw my money at them like Atlanta threw the 2016 Super Bowl for the Patriots.

Having no way to earn permanent shaders is retarded period, but the other microtransactions are pretty benign. The only ones I would argue as overstepping, are the mods. But those aren't end level gear, and easy to come by in regular gameplay.

They should just implement permanent shaders the same way you can get legendary mods; Turn in 5 or 10 of the same shader and get 1 permanent in return. This way you still have to work for it and shaders still have more meaning than the first game.

If they absolutely have to have microtransaction shaders (which is bullshit so fuck off with that shit), then keep the way they have it now with single use shaders for individual armor pieces, but add in the D1 style that colors your whole set for glimmer.
