Anyone shitposting about popularity aside, I played the beta and just didn't like the direction they took. I'm not a fan of Jason teleporting around the map. It would have been better if he could only teleport outside of the player's vision. Also him being able to X-ray vision counselors kills any possibility of stealth play-styles.

Kinda sorta, but not really. The cabin placement is entirely different, and the spawn locations for things are drastically changed. It was a real shock finding the car was thrown out in the middle of nowhere on a dirt road, for example.

Yeah, but your expectations change. In the small maps, I've found the keys, gasoline and battery all in the same house. The possible fusebox houses have all changed, the spawn spots for the shotgun are all changed, etc. They feel like entirely fresh maps. Literally the only thing they have in common with their larger namesakes is the name of the cabins and paths, but those are all placed differently too.

Used to be a situation would run like:
