BRAAAAAAAAAAP
brap?
Real talk, fighting games require a level of introspection and physical training that a lot of other genres don't demand. Obviously when I say physical training, I'm just talking about muscle memory in remembering your combos and other basic execution.
When I'm talking about introspection, it's about having a mindset that even losses can be wins.
>too intelligent to brrap
>>389701015
So go play grand strat. Fighting is low scale strategizing more on the level of tactics than strategy.
>>389703575
Starcraft is one of the dumbest RTS games though.
>>389703929
brapfags are the absolute worst
>>389701015
Is the guy who keeps making these threads a WoWtard, a LoLtard, or just some random /pol/tard mad he lost to a Nigerian?

It's a model swap
Cammy doesn't do that animation in the base game, so the clipping shown there doesn't regularly occur
>>389709740
The only way to make this bait people more is having Melee on it at the highest tech and depth.
Oh wait. That's actually true.
>>389709740
guilty gear is really not that technical, other than that pretty solid.
>>389701240
Not an argument.
>>389709740
Spot on

>>389712301
Damn that looks sick
>in singleplayer games, every event feels scripted
fighting games didnt have this
>>389710941
Who are you quoting?
>>389709740
I know this is a shitpost but
>Soul Calibur that low on technical depth
You can say that about earlier games but the level at which some of the characters in V reward good execution is insane.
>>389709740
What the fuck is up with the tekken placement? Shit is pretty hard to get into.
I find all competitive games to be really boring.
>fight this guy
>see who wins
What if I don't care who wins? What's worse is all you do is repeat that ad nauseum. Competitive games are easy (read: cheap) to make because you leave the burden of content on the player himself. Give me a game with a story and an intricate world. Don't just drop me in an arena and tell me to see who wins.
>>389710359
He was just being himself.
>>389710870
Guilty gear has speed of execution I've found, moreso than other fighting games. Even roman cancels depend on speed of reaction - for the most part you're playing a game of rock paper scissors, and if you win the RPS you do a combo you autistically practiced for 30 hours in the lab, and then do the motions again. Mechanically it's complex, but for the most part it's just fast paced reacting
>>389713390
Video game
>i hate the game part so just gimme the video
>>389713219
I know this is a shitpost but
>1 out of 7 games requires decent execution for a small handfull of the cast
Seems about right to me
>>389713383
>tekken
>hard to get into.
Is this bait or do you just have brain damage?
>>389713483
I didn't say gameplay is shit. But a multi-only game is the definition of a "gameplay-only" game and it's really boring when you take all the meat out
>>389713847
Put some effort into your bait
>>389713830
If you want to get any good at the game. Many other fighters a for babies in comparison.
>>389714081
HAHAHAHA, No.
>>389714081
Anyone who's been exposed to more technical, more dynamic fighting games will quickly pass on tekken. Other top fighters, namely Street Fighter, KoF and MK have advanced impressively in their latest installments; but the relic that is tekken just can't seem to evolve, furthermore many combos can be done simply by hitting 1-button, and the nearly "instant-kill" rage art moves are just laughably broken. Instead of a supplying a proper fighting engine, matches in T7 seem to rely heavily on "who can get their rage move off first". So many elements of the gameplay don't even require any sort of skill. In my book, slow motion over and over again also gets old very quickly. And in the end, it's more of a novelty or gimmick rather than an actual, thought-out fighting game mechanic. But hey, the casual crowd will be pleased!
If you want something a little more "button-masher-friendly," tekken might be your cup of tea.... Key word, MIGHT.
>>389714358
I already knew this because i have played the highly technical and strategic struggle of minds that is also know as Street Fighter V.
However, i just want to get into some good old button mashing fighting games. Overworking your brain and inhuman reflexes can be exhausting. I find this hard because Tektite 7 makes me feel like a dumb ape when i'm playing it. By getting good at it i just simply meant it's very hard to turn your brain off voluntarily.
I just hate being too smart for my own good.
