I go through this phase with most mobages. Got really into PAD and Divine Gate and realized it they were shit and stopped. Then I got into GBF and did the same. Then Fire Emblem, and now I'm on Fate GO.

I used to enjoy the Dynasty Warriors series
Then each installment came out and you noticed that they didn't improve much, I still plug in my old 360 (yes the 360 is old) and play 5 Empires sometimes because I can't enjoy 7 or 8

Fallout 3, though I already had huge grievances I heavily modded out when I was playing it. Encounter Zones was a dumb answer to the level scaling complaint of Oblivion, enemies spawning on top of where their corpse was made no sense, and each patch made the game run worse, in fact I don't think they ever fixed VATS.
