I would say yes, but I played on the PS4 so I can't tell you how well it runs on vita. You can create your own character but I am unsure of how it affects the game, since everybody is still all over your cock and Asuna still loves you and stuff like that. Kiritos name is voiced, but idk if that changes with a custom avatar.
