I don't care how interesting the twist was in MGS2, Big Shell was a slog, Rose and Raiden's relationship drama was soap opera tier and groan inducing at the best of times, and that sniper section defending EE was aids. Vamp was one of the dumbest things to come out of the franchise. 3 is far from perfect, but I found it to be a more consistent and overall enjoyable experience the whole way through, with the amount of time spent in menus being one of it's biggest faults.

Not that I dislike 2, far from it. But people like you lashing out at everyone for not sucking it's dick and hailing it as the pinnacle of story telling while ignoring all of it's faults aren't doing it any favors.
