They didn't solve a single problem with the Wii U so why would the outcome be that different? Portability will at least keep it going in Japan like the Vita but nothing else has changed

if you want to play some shit on a tv, consoles will do it
if you want to play some shit in your hands for more than 3 hours, your phone or a 3ds can do that
i'm not really sure what the fuck purpose the switch serves other than to give me metroid 4 prime if that doesn't get canceled

If you want to play some shit on your TV, a PC will do it. It's objectively the best experience, but it's a stupid ass thing to say since people buy platforms for their exclusives, not the framerate. Buy it for its games, not the form factor or your loyalty to a brand be it Sony or Nintendo.

PC + PS4 + Switch is really the best you can do. PC for multiplats (and the occasional exclusives that won't work with a controller), PS4 and Switch for exclusives.
