Really depends on what you're looking for.

If you like the art and want singleplayer stuff, go for it, it's worth the price. If you want hardcore multiplayer competition, surprisingly, I'd still say it's okay to get, because there is still a small bunch of hardcore fans shredding it up online day to day.

If, like most people, you're somewhat kinda a-okay at fighting games and want to play multiplayer primarily but ideally want other a-okay people at fighting games to play with because you fear you'll get torn a new asshole because everyone else has their combos and setups down to a notch and will destroy you super hard with their thousands of hours of practice... don't get Skullgirls because that's exactly what's going to happen.
