Oil Ocean had the best music in Sonic 2, a game that already had a fantastic soundtrack.

It still pisses me off that we basically got 4 acts of Labrynth Zone in Sonic 1 and not a proper 3rd act for Scrap Brain zone.

One of the main reasons I am not a huge fan of the original Sonic.

I hope a mod comes out someday that swaps the backgrounds back to the correct acts. The devs probably did it intentionally, but it still triggers my autism.
