That is hardly fair. Dishonored actually brought new and different things to the table. You can argue that it's not a good "sequel" to Thief, but that is largely because it's not really a sequel to Thief. Dishonored can stand on it's own.

Metro, on the other hand, is just flat out worse in every respect, and can't stand on anything but the art direction/settings which it more-or-less tries to rip off Stalker.

No, shitstain. I actually figured what kind of game Dishonored was going to be long before it was released. I did my research, unlike you. Including the extensive interviews and previews that made it clear that they are going for a super-hero-assassination power-fantasy, including the ones where they flat out said "we are NOT balancing this game, we believe that players finding out ways to break it is major part of the fun", and "Thief was only the begining of the idea. Steath games are fun, but have a lot of down-time, and we did not want to make that - we want to make a game where the player does not have to stand still for a single second" and many, many others.
