thug 1 was way better. thug 2 was actually such a disappointment to me because it was so retarded. It was a huge downgrade; it was just a bunch of fucking retarded jackass shit and that's it. Thug 1 at least tried to have an actually interesting plot. The only redeeming thing about it was the psp port because it was thps on a handheld which is actually the reason I bought a psp.

At least THUG 2 has a pretty darn good Classic mode- even if some of the goals get repetitive (i.e. Los Angeles having not one, not two, but FOUR collect-the-things goals), it's really long and has a shitton of levels. THAW is just an embarrassment in every way in comparison.

If THUG 1 had a classic mode it might be the best game in the series, but the lack of one means for the best classic experience THPS3 is still your best bet. I mean hell, there's a reason in almost every game afterwards other than THPS4, they used 3's goal completed sound effects.

Other people have done Casper slides since, but usually it's either on a downward incline (so they can keep up their speed and don't have to raise the front of the board as high to keep their front foot from touching the ground) or it's a short little thing that slows to a halt almost immediately. Mullen makes it look so easy and consistent it's ridiculous.
