casually approachable 3d adventure in an immersive fantasy world combined with combat and some puzzles. Music helped it a lot though the music I can not speak for in terms of comparative quality/quantity for the time though I'm willing to bet the music was unprecedented in that particular kind of game's field as well.

Gonna post the OoT review from EDGE magazine. Too bad kids will never know how magical it was to play this back then. But I guess the feeling of playing BotW for the 1st time comes close.

If you play this game expecting it to be the greatest thing of all time you're going to left disappointed. If you go into this game expecting a fun 3D action adventure, you're going to have a good time.
A game that's nearly 20 years old still being fun is a testament to how solid it is.
