They're going through the trouble of remaking the game from the ground up in its entirety, but the game had a huuuuuuuuuuge amount of cut content and they're not adding any of it.

Why bother? Anyone who wanted to play the game at this point probably already got the PS3 remaster.

I totally get why remasters don't add cut content because most of the time they're just glorified upscales and maybe the textures are cleaned up a bit and some glitches are removed and stuff like that. Adding more content would be a lot of work, you'd have to create new assets keeping in with the style of the game, comb over the original design documents, all that stuff.

But if you're already totally remaking the game, why not add a little something?
