I can play Demon's Souls and Castlevania Harmony of Despair pretty well.

I can't get RDR to properly load yet, but it's making progress.

I would say it's going to be good a lot faster than PCSX2 was.

Kind of shit since they implemented the new shader cache system. Didn't do anything in terms of fps in Demon's Souls, except now you gotta suffer through the constant shader compile stutter. Same with games that were already running at full speed like Catherine.

Theoretically yes, but it depends entirely on the game. Some games get a huge boost, others none at all. Still it's in my opinion fairly useless as of now, since who the hell wants to play through a game while collecting shaders? Completely ruins any enjoyment.

Supposedly they're going to try to improve or fix it, but I guess it might take a while before it's seamless.

Some games are doing well, others not so much.

I mean PCSX2 took maybe a year and a half from start to model rendering to get FFXi running at full speed with no graphical or audio issues. RPCS3 has been in development for over 4 years now and it's just now started getting games playable. It's way out of the path of being good faster.

Yes. people who play exclusively on PC. There are tons of them too, believe it or not. Also lots of people who for some reason think games are unplayable unless they're at like 800x native res. I mean hey whatever I don't give a shit but I guess some people do no judgement.

Also the actual hardware for PS2s is getting harder to come across without doing repairs cause lasers by and large are starting to die out. modded ps2 lasers die even faster because people use shit quality DVDs to burn their games then wonder why they suddenly can't play their legit discs a month later.

you can do a complete run of demon's souls right now if you have a good computer.
various other games can be completed now too and no longer have issues.

vesperia ps3 is going to be the endgame and has a list of odd issues.
also has anyone gotten game updates to work? like i have all these psn game updates but they dont really work.

I play them if they work well enough. BotW is fantastic now, everything works, it's running full speed constantly and has only crashed twice in like 30 hours.

Getting used consoles and games is just a fucking hassle. I hate dealing with auction sites and then risk getting some dodgy, dirty piece of junk.

I had the chance to buy a used PS3 from my workplace for like €50 but then it turned out the controllers were missing, and when I saw what a new one cost I gave it up.

You need to be on latest cemu, running BotW version 1.3.0 or 1.3.1 and using latest cemuhook. If you aren't doing one of those it won't work.

Also be sure you aren't retarded and activated the graphic pack in the dropdown menu.
