Twice. Bought the PC version first, stopped playing it because I ran into a bug that screwed up my house and my equipment and waited awhile for them to patched. Picked up the Xbox 360 version while it was super cheap to play it on the couch and it played like ass so I didn't get too far (I only paid $10 bucks, so eh).

They eventually fixed the issue I had on PC after like 6 months and finally beat it about 2 years ago. Not going to lie, probably the most boring of the Elder Scrolls games although it had a few decent moments.

I might pick up the Switch version when it is super cheap just for curiosity sake.

No, it takes at least 20 mods to remove shit like the stagger camera, blood particles on screen even if you're in 3rd person, enemy mage backsprint speed being like 500% so they're impossible to hit, the millions of gamebreaking mods (get as many user made patches for dragonborn as you can before you get to Miraak, he has a high chance to go permanently invincible near the end of the fight and make it unwinnable).

The world is actually pretty cool to explore in a first playthrough. Once you've seen the extent of its RPG mechanics is when the whole thing falls apart for most people. Mods fix this in all sorts of ways.

Fallout 4 is different since its flaws go beyond just the depth RPG mechanics.
