I got up to the third palace. Shibuya is where the framerate really tanks, but in battle you can easily get 30 fps if you have good hardware and 20 inside a palace itself.

The first four games are easily emulatable though, and as was mentioned earlier RPCS3 is getting there for P5. I'd consider the lack of Marie in vanilla P4 an advantage.
