But let's be real, literally no one is buying the Switch for it's power. It's portability is it's main draw. If it was a straightforward console it would be unacceptable. However, as a portable? It's fucking GOAT. Being able to output to the TV while at home is just an added bonus. Having to option to take seamlessly take full console games with you anywhere you go is the tradeoff for the slight visual downgrade on multiplats, the main draw for purchasing them on the Switch. It's a glorified handheld, despite what Nintendo's marketers say, and if that doesn't appeal to you and you'd rather have slightly better but below PC quality GRAFFIX then don't buy one.

And on the subject of power, being able to achieve even slightly better Wii U graphics in such a small and relatively inexpensive form factor is impressive in and of itself. Of course, I wouldn't expect shitposters who've never actually held one in their hands to wrap their head around that.

I liked it, i think the biggest problem people had with it was that they expected the game to be an actual GTA clone, while in reality the city is just a giant hub to get from one crime scene to the next, the game is pretty linear and there's no side activities

The story was cool enough, the facial motion capture tech was impressive for the time, and the interrogations are an actual challenge because you can only rely on the clues you've found and your personal suspicions. Like, most "solve this mistery" games usually focus the gameplay on minigames and stuff for the sake of keeping people busy, but LA Noire really focuses just on finding clues, pressuring the suspects and figuring out who's guilty, no bullshit in between, it's kinda unique in that regard. You can actually put the wrong person in prison and the game will still go on normally

In Splatoon, they don't use the rumble for the guns. They use it for other actions such as going into and swimming through ink.

The best use of HD rumble I've felt was in Mighty Gunvolt Burst in which the joycon would vibrate independently, on different parts of the joycon, and at different intensity to let me know where a hidden room is and how far away. For example, I'd go into a room and immediately know to break the wall under where I was standing because both joycon were vibrating pretty intensely and towards the bottom.

Rockstar has to emphasize on graphic fidently and "1080p" or "4K" for the PS4/X1 because they don't have anything else going for them other than graphics.

The Switch version on the other hand will make optional use of the joy cons to enhance the experience. It won't have the top notch graphics but it'll look good enough to play on your TV set or on the go, which is the entire point. PS4/X1 you can't take them anywhere they are stuck in your living room, Switch you can take it where ever you are and play console games on the go.

I'm not sure about that. BOTW looks too demanding for the PS3 to run and NBA2k18 has all the same features as the PS4 without compromising much except from 60 to 30 FPS. There exist a PS3 version of that game but after examining the PS3/PS4 comparison, its safe to say that NBA2k18 on the Switch is the PS4 version.

Switch can run most modern games just fine. It just depends on third-parties when they'll want to dip in. This is Rockstar's ways of dipping their toes in the console to see if its worth their time. If Noire sells, there's a good chance we're get Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 5 on it. Just depends how many people will buy that game. Yeah Nintendo has plenty of odd things about them. Sometimes they allow it with the cases of Bayonnetta, which was released by a 2nd party dev other times they censor it like it was with Bravely Default, which was developed by Square Enix but published and localized by Nintendo. Then they censored some of their own games like Fatal Frame, Mirage FE, and Xenoblade X. Those games being censored along with the sparce release for that Wii U are the reasons why I sold it.

That game was released in Jan 2017. I want to believe they have changed since releasing since the Switch and the FE Heroes but I might be wrong. Only time will tell what they'll do.
