I actually bought a physical one 11 years ago when I was working at a summer camp for $110 maple syrups.
I was super stoked for it, despite it actually being quite cheaply made and the cylinder not revolving.

Yeah, it uses percussive rounds to vibrate the blade at high frequency.
It's basically an ultrasonic knife. There's nothing wrong with the science, it's just kinda dumb.
Also Lionheart is literally a machine gun inside his sword.
