So like if you hadn't already guessed or didnt expect as much, Famitsu pretty much confirms Infinite has taken control of the Shadow and the like, and that's why they are working with him and Eggman.

That's why they have the block powers, the red glitches on Metal Sonic, and Shadow's red eyes in the cutscene

The whole point of Forces is that Eggman took over the world because of Infinite's dimension fuckery and ruined everything. Green Hill as Classic Sonic is full of sand because Eggman drained all the water, for example.

Considering the only time we've seen Modern and Classic Sonic together was in trailers so far, I really hope Classic Sonic is doing his own thing for most of the game. I'd love for Infinite to not take Modern Sonic seriously, but see Classic Sonic as a threat because he's the only one who would know about the Phantom Ruby.
