I've gained tens of thousands of subs this year doing reviews of old games and I didn't yell at people to like or subscribe. It's been humbling.

So, I've been wanting to do a series of debate/analysis videos, but I'm not sure if it's okay to fill the video with gameplay related to the topic, or should I go and get my drawfag ass out there and make it my own animation for it to avoid copyright strikes.
The latter, needless to say is a lot of work, but I've been doing trial runs on Anime Studio and I can streamline stuff, so make stuff easier to produce once the ball starts rolling, but that doesn't change it's a lot of work, which means I will take a lot of time to make.
I dunno if I chould go all in, or gameplay videos are good enough.

I got 3 subs and around 2000 views in total, and that's mostly from 2 out of 20 videos. Nobody watches my gameplays so I got no motivation to record a playthrough. I don't do commentary and only record raw vids so maybe that's the biggest reason.
