What sucks is that I personally like the level selection of the 3DS version more overall, but prefer playing with a controller.

It's fine for what it is. You get the full Smash experience on a handheld. Controls won't be nearly as good as if you were playing on a controller, but it works well enough.

Don't bother. it seems like a simple game, but the people that have been playing is since are too far to catch up to competitively.

It's alright. If you're not someone who's super competitive (since the Wii U version is more for tournaments and stuff), it's arguably better in some ways. Smash Run > Smash Tour, some of the 3DS stages might be more preferable, etc. I just warn to not go to hard on the Circle Pad, as it can fall off due to use easily with this game

Smash Run is fun, Classic Mode is ok and online is ok too (I've heard is actually better than wii u, but i never played online wiiu).
Just don't be a gorilla and destroy your buttons.

A lot of people play it casually. It's one of the biggest party games of all time. Even online. You're describing melee.

It has better stages, and modes than the Wii U version. Plays pretty much the same though.

Surprisingly it helps alot. It looks like it'd be uncomfortable but it feels right when doing smash attacks on it.
