No online game lasts forever. You could keep going back, or find a private server to try and recapture those old feelings, but it's not quite the same. Maybe now it's easier to see that it was the people you played with that made the game feel so magical.

I've never played a MMO so luckily I don't have to worry about being sad that a game I like died, but in the other hand I heard about people having great times on those games, and I never experienced any of that.

Well, if you visit threads to discuss games and NEW gameplay footage for upcoming games (I'm saying this because of all the fucking BotW threads drones talking about the same fucking footage for months which attracted other shitposters after a while), you have good threads there. Sure, some are better, some are worse but you get the idea.
Stay away from shitposting threads unless you are aware what you're dealing with.
