Anyways back in the day NV was pretty fun to be honest the game had more support than F3 also more mods and weapons for some years was the best thing. Until Skyrim came out.

i love new vegas but i wouldnt recommend it to anyone just because of the engine. that said, if you didnt fall in love with the premise and story of the game you will hate it for the technical, unfinished mess it is.

What difficulty are you playing on OP? It actually matters a lot for games like NV, Skyrim etc. Yes all it does is make enemies do more damage and have more health which makes people quick to excuse themselves from raising the difficulty because it's "Artificial", but in reality the default difficulties are way too easy because normal is for awful casuals who want to brainlessly mash their way through combat and eat every attack without consequence. Raising the difficulty puts the enemies stats to what they should be.
If you feel like combat is too easy you were probably playing on too low of a difficulty, at least in the early game anyways. Even on the hardest difficulty most enemies will be a joke at late game but the start of the game is significantly harder.

Comon OP. You don't have to put the difficulty to max, but you should at least raise the difficulty high enough so that you can't just run in full akimbo mode. You'll realize that when the enemies can actually kill you then dodging/cover/strategy/etc are much more important.

It means you need to pay attention you your build instead of being a brain dead retard. I could killed heavily armored enemies with a hunting rifle in 5 body shots on very hard with my build minmaxed.

1 intelligence, 8 luck, others I just picked at random. Dumping most of my points into guns, repair and medic. Also drinking every bottle of alcohol I come across as someone said that makes the game more interesting.

Intelligence is the opposite of a dump skill. That's what charisma is for. Try high strength and agility if you want low intelligence. Take heaps of chems and beat people to death.

The 3d series of Fallout was never meant to happen. It literally has nothing to do with the original game. Trying to mix turn based combat with fps was the stupidest thing that the gaming community ever tolerated.

What are you on about? Fallout made a wonderful transition to the 3d action format. 3 was adequate, Fallout New Vegas was an improvement hampered by time restraints, and Fallout 4, despite being a great leap forward in graphics and gunplay for the series, fell victim to modern Bethesda's paradoxical obsession with simultaneously streamlining their games to nothing while trying to add new aspects that don't contribute anything.
