Do streamers really help a game sell well?
If so, is the boost in sales any better than just getting the game's name out there? Does it matter what the stream is like as long as people see the game at all?

once YouTube figuratively removes the entire gaming section, the only way you're gonna see gaming footage is through Twitch and its VODs / clips
>you're just changing the source to form your own opinion
>>
Depends if the game is worth playing after the show.

>depth
>multiplayer / leaderboards
etc.
>>
>>389497424
how is that even a question
just look at pubg my man.

>constant subscriber notifications, subscriber thank yous, donation read-outs, hey guys let me get those <emoticon> in chat, in every video game video
>>
>>389499410
How do you know people wouldnt have bought it anyway?

Personally I watch PUBG players on YouTube but I would never buy the game mysle.f

true, but
>what is a mute button
>evaluate footage solely by visuals
>>

Well no shit they do. A lot of people what vidya spoonfed to them. And all it takes is one person playing it live to convince them.

I've gotten many people to buy games they otherwise wouldn't have

>subscribe/donation pop-up takes up half the screen, chat takes up the other half.
>on top of those, there is a sub goal icon and the streamer's logo
>>
>>389497424
no

only shit that is meme and popular by DEFAULT

case in point, if streaming wasn't around, guess how many games wouldn't be popular?

If you have learned anything about Twitch, you can easily scroll down to find a tiny streamer who will actively talk to you and answer your questions.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
