That's what I like about Nintendo, while Sony and Microsoft are always playing it safe with making the same black boxes, Nintendo will try to create something different.

The Wii was a huge success because of that, the WiiU tried but wasn't quite there and then the Switch came along and does what the WiiU was supposed to be. Being different pays off if you do it well.

I don't understand the big fuss over friend codes. It was annoying on the DS and Wii where each game had its own friend code, but they've been system wide since the 3DS and Wii U. They're pretty much just a slightly longer phone numbers that just have to be inputted once and there's zero problems of having to look through a list of multiple people with the same name or figuring out if a character is an I or an l.
