I thought it was a good game, great ost aswell, the hisatsu kills were satisfying, and the only part i did not like was that rikimaru and ayame dont have their weapons for some reason.

It's the best since the PS1 games. It feels like a stealth game instead of a ninja fantasy game.

Tenchu fan since the first game here. DO NOT FUCKING BUY. The game is absolutely horrendous. You will be constantly fighting the wagglan controls and the game is just a monumental pain in the ass to play because of it. Also, the combat is complete shit. If you ever get into a fight you will probably die more than not because of the controls and the way it's set up.

Don't fucking get this game. It is a stain on the series and is the reason Tenchu is dead now. Avoid at all costs. You have been warned

How do I get into Tenchu?
I know it sometimes has supernatural stuff and I want to avoid that if possible, it's lame, I just want to snek behind ronin and other ninjas

That's funny cuz the game was made by acquire, the original of the first 2 games on PS1. The ps2 games and x360 were by K2 LLC. You'd think that acquire getting the game back would make a great me

What do people mean by 3? Wrath of Heaven or Fatal Shadows? People tend to call Shadow Assassins Tenchu 4 but that's the 5th console game nout counting spin offs like Z

I think the first version was the wii one, so they worked the gameplay to be suited for wii users, making the combat shallow and the approach to enemies have little risk
In general it just sucked, and some of the original developers made shinobido which was a fast paced tenchu

Linear and boring. You literally walk through corridors the whole game. Even the first game had bigger locations with ability to use a hook and scale trees and buildings. If you're a fan, you can try. If you want to get into the series, emulate the first game on psp.

They'll never make a Tenchu as good as the original. Despite the hideous graphics, it had fun gameplay, cool kill animations, creative tools, let you try different strategies, and music that made my dick diamonds. I still hook up my PS1 and punish minister Kataoka on snowy nights in the winter.
