The story is almost the same and the gameplay is relatively unchanged as well. It's also unoptimized with FPS drops.

It's a real pity Gust decided to try and make three games at once. Firis, BR, NoA2 were all unfinished, buggy and short because of this.

I'm sure they made BR because NoA1 basically funded them. That was a mistake though, they should've used that effort for Atelier and NoA2.

All of Gust's underwhelming and buggy releases since Shallie were eventually going to come back to haunt them, and even though I'm a fan of NoA it was obvious NoA2 was going to be a very flawed, underwhelming game.

I'll probably play NoA2 just to max out Muveil, Camilla, Veruschka, and Arnice then I'll drop it. Never cared too much for Liliana and the endings are shit anyways.

Overall it has more yuri fanservice but it's more dispersed. First game was a lot more focused on a single tragic pairing which was more enjoyable.
