My first run consisted me landing in a big city, looting everything, taking a car, killing 3 people, I only died at like top10 and it was my first playtrough, don't tell me this game is hard, you can avoid all contact by camping killing the last guy by camping and win the whole game. It is just a camping/walking/rng looting simulator, also badly optimised, they couldn't even make new maps since it has been out for how long, the game has lot of flaws including it is as casual as a game can get, but hey it is still kinda fun in a party.

I haven't played PUBG personally, but I've seen it played quite a bit. From what I understand the developers are still quite invested in it, and there is still a large player base, so it's not to late to get in.

Don't worry too much about sucking either, because apparently the game has a player rating system in it that keeps the really good players from being in the matches with the players that really suck. So that means that so long as the player base remains large enough, that no matter what skill level you're at you should be playing with players who are approximately in your ballpark skill wise most of the time.

If you have other friends that are intrested in it, or have it already, you should pick it up. It seems like it's more fun when you have someone to play with.

Obviously, grains of salt here, since I haven't played the game personally. Hope it helps though.
