You just don't get it. Everybody wants new games. The fact of the matter is GOOD games can take upwards to YEARS to make so in the mean time, having ports of older titles outsourced to devs who specialize in that sort of thing gives gamers something to enjoy in the mean time. There will always be people who miss out on games the first time they're released for whatever reason and the Switch is the perfect console to play ANYTHING because it doubles as a fucking portable. Never have games been port begged as hard as for the switch because having that kind of option is fucking amazing.

Except Nintendo rarely outsources when it comes to their own intellectual property because, as I'm sure you're exceedingly aware and would have to be retarded to not see it, they place extremely high value on their properties. Any first party title is not likely to be outsourced by Nintendo, which just means it takes up that much more of their own resources because they have to focus on satiating entitled idiots who wanted games but refused to buy the console for them instead of allocating dev time towards actually new games.

Hardly, the stats screens and the texting were on the bottom. It would be clunky but they could easily move the texting to a separate screen like how Persona 5 does it, same for the stat screens. I would absolutely love a port and I don't really think changing the game that much would be a huge detriment.

I enjoyed some 200+ hours with it, and while there are definitely flaws and half-assery in the story/gameplay (FUCK YOU Takahashi for handcuffing me to Tatsu the whole goddamn time), a lot of things it did were a breath of fresh air compared to Chronicles.

Dunno why people would want a port, though. Imagine fiddling with the mining interface by button or smudging up your fancy Switch screen. Fuck that.
