Thoughts on Sonic Mania?

Its exactly what youd expect.
I personally hated it, just pirated it earlier and already deleted it.
But I hate sonic games, oh great another 20 second segment where I dont need to touch the controller nice gameplay

It's a great game, and I'm happy that I get to finally play a good Sonic game.

When Sonic Forces comes out, that's when I'll get reminded that Sonic Team is full of hacks that Sega just needs to fire already. They need some new talent.

Too S3/SK and not enough S/S2 for my tastes.
Time trial is great. Bonus stage is good. Sub-bonus stage can get fucked. Bosses at the end of act 1s is stupid.
Good fun. I can see myself finishing it a couple more times.
