I had see the opposite effect here, several anons that explained they like the MH's setting but not it's usual gameplay loved this game. Is basically persona Q again, a different take of a franchise with the same charm.

So they added a lot of monsters? For the level of detail i was under the assumption we would only get a few of the popular monsters

Not really, your own damage falls off pretty fucking fast compared to your monster's even with the highest tier endgame equipment, so SnS is probably the best weapon just by the virtue of being able to guard

Most of the rider's actions as the game goes on are going to be either supporting their monster with heals and buffs or just building meter with basic attacks

Thought it came out today then was disappointed when I went to the store and found out in comes out on the 8th. Why can't Nintendo get with the program and release games on Tuesdays like everyone else?

I really wanted to like it but a few things prevented me from finishing the demo
