gonna try and join now OP, sounds neat

the jump kick where you press backwards for mega damage. the side flip you could cancel into other melee attacks. that fucking sweep. then you get Barretted or Bulled. Pretty fun.

OP, I dropped all the files in ts into my hl1 folder that I installed on steam, but I don't see the option to change game when I launch hl1. Any idea why that is?

Fuck me there's a game from the past, used to live on the forums and held the map making competition for the final release in which the Tea House from Hard Boiled won.

Worth an install, great game, right up there with Action Half Life and The Opera.

Is there anything special about the version uploaded to mega? I already had the latest version of the specialists installed and I dont see the server anywhere. I tried connecting directly to the IP address with console but it said UserID already in use?

Not that I know of. It's The Specialists 3.0. But the HL1 version is an older one I found specifically for the purpose of allowing anons without HL1 to join in. I've tested it multiple times with other people and never had the "User ID already in use" issue. That's quite perplexing. If you already had TS installed along with HL1, restart Steam and just use your Steam HL1.

Game crashed during map change, and now I cant even launch Specialists. I guess thats it for me for tonight
