Well, unless you're working 112 hours a week you should have plenty of time for video games. I only work 40 hours a week, that leaves me 72 hours a week for vidya.

Oh yeah, and I need to make three pack lunches for three kids who also need waking up and getting ready for school, and lunch for myself. There's usually something else to do, for example this morning the wind had blown our gate hard enough that I ended up hammering nails into it in the pouring rain at 06:30.

Fine, this is just my life, yours will obviously be different, but I'm having a good week if I get six hours of gaming in.

I work my dick off 6 days a week in the summer and then for 3 months I have a lay off period, where I am paid 60% of what I made throughout the year, so with 1 braincell I'm able to simply live off of what I haven't spent and pay my rent until it's time to work again.

What I do is just listen to clips of audio recordings and type out everything I hear. It's real easy to be honest. And I don't have to report to anyone, and I work as much as I want to. You just have to have a good grasp of grammar to do the job well. I only started last year too. And I work all day long pretty much, but I like dicking around online a lot and I take a break whenever I want. I keep really odd hours but that's great for this job since I can get work any time pretty much, except weekends are slow, but that's when I usually have time to play games more anyway. Also, since I'm not exactly an employee, and I chose to get paid through PP, I fill out the self-employed tax form but I dont worry too much about that until tax time so I can count on every dime I make coming to me every week

It was just as simple as googling "online job" actually. I found a lot of crap before I got a break from some blog talking about ways to earn money online. Then I just looked into transcriptioning and found some links and went applying when I found some sites that do this. I had no illusions about how much/little I was going to make though, but for me I make enough, and I get to do it from home so I don't have to worry about car costs or maintenance so I'm saving on gas money too

Between work, household stuff/cooking, kids (just got a second one) there's not much time to game anymore. Best bet are weekends when I can stay up late at night and wake up late in the morning. Otherwise I just sneak in some mobile games at lunch or when work is slow. I chose this life myself and kids are super fun, but I still dream of a weekend where I can just do nothing but play vidya.

The worst thing is I have the income to buy games and hardware but no time to play them so my backlog keeps growing.
