Anyone else played this gem? Holy fucking shit the combat, the environment, the story telling and the difficulty, and not to mention the badass protagonist.
Definitely one of my top 15 games on PS2

I have no loyalty to any console, that's silly.
I'll say this though, the mid-late PS2 era was the perfect time for gaming. Graphics were good enough that they could either be fairly realistic or stylized but bad enough that they were cheap. Risks could be taken and 90% of budget wasn't on adding black heads to Nathan Drake's butthole.

If only things had stayed that way.

This was one of the original release versions back when they vanished from shelves in about 30 seconds. I was so happy.

I recommend that you should reorganize that shelf so everything is in alphabetical order. For actual game recommendations, you should get the other 2 Ace Combat games you are missing (5 and Zero), Downhill Domination, SSX (both Tricky and 3 maybe On Tour too), some SOCOM games (preferably 2, 3, and CA), and maybe Black as well.
Otherwise, your collection is pretty good.
