Do you prefer Asian or western games, /v/?

I've certainly enjoyed many games from the west but if I had to say what of my favourite games mostly consists of it would have to be Asian.

Depends on the genre usually.

I like both, but nip games have that special touch that western games seem to lack. MGS and the Nier games stuck with me a lot longer than any western stuff.

Asian, most if not all of my favorite games are Asian. I've tried playing some of the western "classics" but they just don't appeal to me

Witcher 3 is one of the most well received western games and its a generic bamham open world game.

When i grew up and started playing more games i realized that Japan always got the west beat.
The west shines on some particular genres like wargames and FPS so i guess that counts for something.

Typically games developed in Asia are what I play. Not everything obviously but the majority of the ones I have any interest in are.
I think the last western developed title I enjoyed was on windows 98. They made some damn good point n clicks.

that fucking batman game was awful, every punch you give sounded like a fap sound. there is no power behind any punch.
and the fucking batman does a lot of shit, jump, kick punch cape fart, and enemies take a lot to die.
fucking disgusting.

I like both but I primarily play Jap games. They are usually better, but then you have gems like Mount and Blade/Morrowind.

If only Western games can go back to their golden age of late 90s era.
