There will be sixteen story campaign missions (in addition to the Prologue which was available in the beta tests). Once you’re done with those missions, they can be replayed at will by talking to Ikora. This will unlock the ability to accumulate Tokens and Reputation with her to get equipment that includes the best weapons and armor available prior to Ghaul’s invasion.

When the shop opened in Destiny 1 they gave every player free silver, enough to buy an emote of their choosing. As far as I know that was the only instance of anyone getting silver outside of paying for it.

Why is Activision the only one who gets away with Season Passes and microtransactions for content that you can not directly get with in-game currency?

EA has resorted to free DLC with their mcirotransactions, fighting games offer season passes constantly but some let you earn the characters and dont fuck you over with costumes and skins since you buy them directly, and even Ubisoft may have season passes and microtransactions but at least they let you buy what you want directly using the in-game currency if you dont want to fork over real money
