What's with this trend of not having background music in games like this? Just hearing the wind, your footsteps, and attacks in a particular area isn't very exciting. Game needs some music. I know boss fights in games like this usually have good music, but areas should have their own themes too.

Upper Cathedral Ward, for example. In bloodborne. The music definitely does lend to the atmosphere there, though... you have a point.

How cool would it be if only anor londo had music, like really opulant, majestic heavenly music that starts right as they hoist you up into view of the castle
