Secret of Mana is cancer. The game that introduced the lazy unsophisticated action-based battle system to JRPGs which grew like a tumor and eventually consumed the Final Fantasy series. At least Dragon Quest, Legend of Heroes, and Persona's battle systems are relatively uncucked.

Square cant do action games, but their action RPGs are fun for the other Square reasons. SD3 was beautiful and so was LoM.
