I actually thought Lawbreakers looked like fun, too. Is it actually not good or is it like Battleborne, where its bad visual design damns it far more than its unsurprisingly more complex than Overwatch gameplay? Boy did they fuck up with the unlockable buyables for matches, though.

I'll prbably give it a try when its free though. I tried that PUbbuguh game at a buddy's and wasn't impressed with it over all. It wasn't bad, but considering you have to buy it and it suffers from so many horrible issues, the largest of which is such a heavy emphasis on gunplay, turned me off. So I was hoping at least SOMETHING would come out shooter wise. I don't wanna touch Quake until they fix the rockets.

Anyone who releases a hero-class multiplayer shooter while Overwatch is still the reigning king of the market is dooming themselves. Unless you're an industry giant like Square Enix with FFXIV, you can't just cut into Blizzard's market like that. It's suicide.

Plus, one point I've brought up before is how undoubtedly one of the defining factors in Overwatch's success was the appealing character designs. Exactly NONE of these would-be Overwatch contenders have that. It's all "we're Overwatch but WE HAVE DIVERSITY AND ALL OUR CHARACTERS ARE FORGETTABLE AND UGLY".

Overwatch has your precious diversity, niggers. And it does it better than you, because it makes everyone (or almost everyone) good looking, so it elevates everyone. Compare that to Lawbreakers which makes everyone equal in ignominy. They want to make Overwatch without sexy females, but Overwatch owes much of its success to the sexy females.

TL;DR: Overwatch will not be dethroned until a superior waifu simulator FPS shows up.

Humble developers/game directors are far more likeable than ones who brag. When that letter about Symmetra being autistic got out, a fat chunk of people became a little more interested in the game. Good PR moves add up.

Mccree's flashbang relies more on positioning than Roadhog's hook ever did - if he's flashing you in the middle of your team, he's a dead Mccree. Not avoidable per se, but you'd be hard pressed to consider it broken without actually going out and finding a mccree to solo duel. Kinda like the issue low rankers had with Mei before her buff. Never used in the pro scene, but considered broken across the board in bronze.

Battleborn is genuinely terrible, because Gearbox made the genius decision to make it so you have not only unlock characters but also gear for them which involves copious grinding. As such it's unforgiving to new players, as what few consistent players the game has will just steamroll them.

Lawbreakers looks ok, but i have a toaster and don't really want to try to play the game on mimimum settings. Plus nobody plays it anyway
