I went to Nintendo's store in NYC this weekend while I was there and holy fuck.

This is the cheapest fucking piece of shit I've ever had the misfortune of holding.
>Terrible sticks, tops have zero grip and just slip slide around like a 3DS circle pad
>Every button is mushy as fuck
>Despite the fact that they are still digital triggers, they have a bunch of travel time (literally the worst of both worlds)
>Dpad can be pressed down as one button
>The dpad triggering diagonals way to fucking easily is real despite Nutendo fans on /v/ claiming it was only first run models and that it was fixed with the Splatoon version of the controller (I tried one, it was not the case, Splatoon version of the controller still triggers diagonals too easily) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOZ4EsGVBhM
>The gyro in Splatoon 2 was significantly worse than Splatoon 1's gyro, it felt like it had a bunch of smoothing over it and ruined the responsiveness that the first game had
>The material on the grips is shitty and gets your hands slippery
>Too many fucking menu buttons in the center, kept fucking hitting screenshot or some shit instead of start
>Finding menu buttons reliably without looking down sucks because they're flat in the controller and not sticking out at all
>Half the battery life of their previous pro controller
>It's 70 fucking dollars despite being worse than their previous controller which was like 40-50 new

Only the most desperate fanboy speaks highly of this controller. If you see somebody do so, remember to call them out on their retarded bullshit.

Hows it feel to be retarded?
>Best dpad by a long shot (Unless you have a hacked Vita and go to the trouble of setting it up as a controller and even then I have no idea how well it works)
>Great grippy sticks
>Bumpers and buttons have good non mushy responsiveness
>Digital triggers that instantly press down instead of meme analog triggers
>Best button and stick placement (Dpad and face buttons on the bottom makes it super comfortable for 2d Platformers or any other classic game, it feels like your holding a SNES controller with a non shit grip)
>Start buttons stick out while home and power button are flat so you know which one you've moved your finger too unlike the Switch pro
>80 fucking hours of battery life
Steam controller with the WiiU Pro as a backup is the one true master race for PC gaming.
>>
Just got one the other day actually, and it's one of the best controllers I've ever held. What the fuck are you on about, OP?

The build is great, the gyro is responsive and it's ergonomical as fuck. Only drawback is the price, which is ludicrous.

Not that guy, but I always thought the Dreamcast pad was trash. The way the handles on the back turn inwards, the garbage analog stick, spongy buttons, and wire on the bottom; all adds up to an uncomfortable awkward experience, and then you have the VMU + rumble pak making it exceedingly top heavy.

>>389358160
How do the S bumpers differ? I found them really stiff and awkwardly placed on the regular Bone controller.

My favourite pads are the Wii Classic Controller and Pro version. I just wish the CC Pro had the Gamecube style triggers and the regular CC had the digital click, instead of vice versa. Decent cable length and using a standard USB would be useful too.
