It's an incredible game. As another anon said, easily 2016's GOTY. It's a good successor to Blood Money.

The Always Online shit sucks, though. AND I WANT THE ELUSIVE TARGETS BACK!

Other than that, it's a good hitman game, definitely a return to form to the franchise after the weirdness that was absolution.

They're pointless in normal playthroughs

Pretty damn good. It has a lot of stupid bullshit like missing features from Blood Money and all the online DRM/elusive target bs.
But if you like the series, stealth or just replaying very replayable levels, then it's a must.
