Yeah, I am looking forward to it. Although I'm not a big fan of those long animations after you "parry" or whatever the enemy. It'd be better if they just went into a vulnerable state instead.

No, because the genre is a bit of a joke when coupled with modern demands of accessability. Indie and smaller productions is where you will find good metroidvanias like environmental station alpha, axiom verge and hollow knight.
