It's not that politics are allowed, it's just that we have some of the worst moderators on the site. They don't delete the non-vidya shit but will delete threads about games they don't like. They also delete the meta thread that was approved by Hiro because they don't like people telling them how to do their jobs.

There are people in there with good suggestions that just want to discuss how to make the board a better place. Just like how there are people on /v/ that actually want to discuss video games instead of just being false-flagging console war shitposters or regurgitating the same thinly veiled political or porn threads.
