Spell synergy occurs when more than one caster casts the same spell. What happens is the second person to cast the spell piggybacks on the casting time of the first person. Let's say a pawn starts casting bolide. If you roughly know how long the spell takes, you can start casting the spell when they're close to finishing their casting, and your spell will come out at the exact same time as theirs. This means if you have a pawn with only two or three high level spells, you can run around casting weaker spells to deal with mobs/positioning, then immediately throw out your own high level spell by synergising with the pawn's casting.

This can work with three pawns+arisen as well, essentially allowing you to cast four meteor showers or tornadoes or earthquakes simultaneously, so long as you're able to keep the enemies distracted while the pawn builds up the initial casting.

On PS3 it basically turned the game into a slideshow for twenty seconds and then when it went back to normal everything previously on screen would be dead.

It's MT Framework right? So yes. But it would probably look a touch rough given that the system has no natural AA. Given that dock and portable mode perform differently in all games, I imagine that would be janky but as MT Framework was made by wizards, i'm sure it'd be fine.

Fighter is not only versatile but also fun as fuck, even without Dragon's Maw. Hindsight Sweep, Antler Toss, Sheltered Assault, and Divine Defense are all incredible skills that are slept on by most people, and HS and SA are even better when upgraded to their third forms and easily rival Dragon's Maw in both utility and DPS.

Needless to say, you should practice them perfect blocks in order to make the most out of this class.

If 9 Crapcom will start to work on DD2.

Yeah, those large eye dudes, and gargoyles. Petrification is instant death if you can't cure it, and it totally wipes out your pawns. I'd say even if it is rare it is worth it to hit 100% resist. One ring and one or two pieces of armor is all it takes.

Possession is when your pawn turns red and starts fighting against you. Dragons do it when they grab a pawn and start talking to it, and cursed dragons have a roar they do sometimes that just possesses all of your pawns at once. It blows massive dicks if you've been min/maxing your pawn and/or yourself for damage, and/or if your pawn has a bow.

It's true that some form of point-buying has become much more common in RPGs in recent times, the vast majority don't really use that sort of system. Certainly not enough to just assume any game will do it.

I prefer choosing where your points go, but level-up stats are really minor in Dragon's Dogma, with gear dominating. To the point where they probably only included them from some sense of tradition.
